Strategy Board Games
Strategy board games involve decision-making. The outcome
of such a game is directly affected by how skillful the choices are
that a player makes. Generally, there is little chance involved.
Perhaps the most commonly recognized strategy board games are checkers
and chess. Checkers is also known as draughts. It involves twelve uniform
pieces which move diagonally across a 64 square board.
Chess also involves a square board with 64 boxes arranged eight by
eight. Strategy board games like this vary from draughts as there are
many different pieces. Each piece also has its own method of movement.
