Jeopardy Board Game
Jeopardy board game themes range from the classic style
to that of cartoons or sports. There have been many different attempts
to capture the game play of the original televised show. The edition
put out by the Parker Brothers in 1999 is considered the most accurate.
This is because that edition is the only jeopardy board game with pre-selected
Daily Doubles and six categories per round. The correct pricing amounts
were also included. In addition to these features, the Parker Brothers’
edition had a separate category and clue for Final Jeopardy.
The old and new Jeopardy board game versions created by Milton Bradley
only had five rounds. The Daily Doubles were chosen by a host for the
game. Also, it used a higher Double Jeopardy for the final category,
rather having a separate Final Jeopardy category. These differences
were also seen in the older and newer Pressman editions of the game.
